Great cut. Very friendly and clean place. Nice waiting room with magazines and a TV. Not overpriced and not an uncomfortable place. I like it and will return!

Pros: friendly and comfortable

Cons: hard to find, next to Gem City Hardware

I came in first for a haircut and beard trim, and liked the detailed attention Jane gave to my cut and so I told my wife about her and she went in for a cut and color. Jane took her time and was very professional and friendly. We will be back!

All in one spot, I got my hair cut and braided and later got a manicure and pedicure and all done at a resonable price. The stylists and nail tec was friendly and really helped me look and feel great! They take their time and never rushed me or pushed products on me. One of the ladies asked me if I would like something to drink while I was waiting and even asked me if they could pick me up some lunch while they were out picking up their lunch! Now that is service! I felt really comfortable right away. I will always come back!

We just went yesterday after reading reviews on citysearch. We couldn't be more pleased. After paying big bucks in the dc area for salon cuts - Jackie cut gave me just as good a cut without the big bucks! Vicky cut my daughter's hair (6) and she was very happy. Great place, great value! Biggest surprise is how knowledgeable and current-style aware the stylists are. We will be back!

I found Ahead Barbers & Stylists on the internet and my whole family went! They have stylists who take their time and gave me the color I really wanted! My husband likes it too because they have REAL barbers! The kids enjoy Disney in the lobby and the cute seat they get to sit in. I highly recommend this place for the whole family!

Pros: Professional yet relaxed

Cons: not enough hours in the day

My husband and I had Rick do our hair. My husband has almost shoulder length straight hair, and I have about the same length curly hair. It is so hard to find someone who can cut curly hair right, especially when it is in ayers. I am very satisfied! This was the first time we had ever been to Ahead Stylists (we decided to go after looking them up on City Search). We will definitely go back!

Pros: Talented, friendly sylists, cable in the waiting area.

Cons: None.

This little shop is full of very friendly and skilled people. You definately can't go wrong here. No matter where I move in the Dayton area, I will make the drive back to Ahead Stylists every time.

Jane really took the time to talk about what I wanted done to my hair, and explained every step of the process of coloring and cutting my hair. Very relaxing atmosphere. I also took all 3 of my kids for haircuts and she did a wonderful job on everyone. We are all very happy with our haircuts.

I watch their road sign for specials on great deals and sometimes they have sales on services I like to just try, and at their prices - I can afford to get pampered! I highly suggest you give them a try!

I recently had a perm there and they did a very good job. The price was reasonable and they were very friendly.
