Back in 1976(?), I purchased a 1962 Triumph TR3 in need of restoration. I took it to Doug (Sr) on Blue Bell. The results were absolutely fantastic - the car was shown in local car shows four times - 3 Firsts; 1 Second. Doug's workmanship and attention to detail are second to none. If memory serves, I asked Doug how many coats of lacquer were on the car. He said he didn't know, but that he sprayed 5 gallons of paint at the car (most of which was sanded off in order to create one of the prettiest, deepest finishes I ever saw. Also had mechanical work done - great results on mechanicals, too! The TR moved with me to AZ, then to WI. Sadly, I sold the TR in WI. Wish I still owned it! Back to the task at hand - the review. Suffice it to say that if you need body or mechanical work done on your vehicle, Tiger Auto is the place to go FIRST. I have never done business with a more honest, more capable shop. The price is reasonable, too!
Pros: Expert body and mechanical work at reasonable cost.

I really cannot recommend Doug Sr and Dougie more highly- they're honest, incredibly competent, encyclopediac in their knowlege and memory of every little thing you've ever done in their care, prompt and, yes, cheap- the kind of folks who you can trust implicitly to fix only what needs it well and for (often) far below what you'd be charged elsewhere. plus they're informative and friendly, fellas any gal can trust to not treat her like a dope or dupe. although they specialize in a rare and very dishy car, they'll fix anything, and they helped me have wonderful, reliable relationships w/ my Toyota and Honda over the 6 yrs I had them in the Dougs' care. if I hadn't moved across the country, I'd be using them still- oh, and Dougie helped me sell my Civic in just a few days, for a good price, too.
Pros: honest, excellent and cheap
Cons: inconvenient to get to
