This little village is a wonderful shopping experience. They have a little bit of everything! Step back in time and go door to door down the main street as well as the side streets to visit individual shops with so much to offer! A quaint little village of antique stores, specialty shops and art galleries. They have two Bed and Breakfasts for you to enjoy as well as unique restuarants and an ice cream parlor. Weither you are looking for antique items or that special decorating or art addition to your home decor, you will enjoy tracking it down in Waynesville. So much history in this 2oo year old village where stage coaches stopped on their way through the area. Still quaint, still unique...so if you are looking for something different than your normal run of the mill mall experience, give Waynesville a try. Shop the shops, grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants or deli operations, then shop some more. You probably will not get all your shopping and site seeing done in one day so mark your agenda and plan your return trip right away. So much to see in our friendly well stocked shops. Questions....stop by the Chamber of Commerce office for all the information you will need while shopping. Don't miss the best antiques in the area, the best homemade sweets from the sweet shop, the largest inventory of P. Buckley Moss in the country at Canada Goose Gallery, special eats from a variety of eaterys and if you just didn't get enough during the daylight, spend the night in one of the two Bed and Breakfasts right in town and be ready for the start of business the next day. Waynesville....Southern Ohio's best kept secret! Come find out for yourself! See you there!

Pros: Great shopping, Unitque stores, the best antiques in the area, different places to eat. See it today!

Commercialism has taken over this once original shopping experience. It is hard to find actual "antiques" in Waynesville. Most of the shops have stocked retail items such as soap, or boards painted with catchy words or slogans, like "garden" or the like. If you're searching for genuine antiques, we suggest staying away from Waynesville.

Pros: easy walking

Cons: selection
