The park includes 43 miles of hiking trails, 31 miles of riding trails and a 2,830-acre lake with a 1,300-foot swimming beach. Nearby Caesar Creek Gorge, a state nature preserve with a 180-foot-deep gorge is open during daylight hours only. Seasonal attractions in the vicinity are Paramount King's Island amusement park, Blue Jacket outdoor drama, Cowan Lake State Park and the Waynesville Sauerkraut Festival.
